ABOUT ZIBIBBO

Zibibbo is an 85-seat restaurant upstairs and a tapas/lounge bar downstairs.
The menu is inspired by the rustic flavours of Italy and Spain, and cooked by chefs who are passionate about food. Zibibbo has an extensive wine and cocktail list and service with a smile.
We also have a Private Dining Room seating up to 20 people.

Zibibbo was created in 2000 by husband and wife team Michelin-star rated Chef Adam and Nicola Newell. Adam is Head Chef and Nicola works full-time at Zibibbo and is available for all function enquiries.

EARTHQUAKE STRENGTHENING

Lots of you read recently in the Dominion Post about the "old police station" needing earthquake strengthening and the tenants who need to move out. That was the old police station in Waring Taylor Street, and NOT the Zibibbo building (although we also used to be a police station).

The Zibibbo building was strengthened to 100% of the code in 2000 just before Zibibbo opened. There's no earthquake strengthening issues for us, and we're not moving anywhere!
